If you are planning your independent travel to Russia, CIS or Baltic States, A Foreign Affair Travel and Visa Service will be happy to assist you with booking your hotel and filing the Visa application forms for entrance into the country.

All US travelers who enter Russia or CIS countries must have a valid passport (valid 6 months from date of return) and an appropriate Visa for each separate country.

A Russian or CIS country visa may be obtained through our office with a valid prepaid hotel reservation or by completing the visa application form. A one time 5% handling fee will be applied to all reservation bookings.

In response to a request from the U.S. Congress several years ago, the U.S. Justice Department issued a report relative to immigration and international marriage issues that stated "it would appear" that marriages between U.S. citizens and foreign nationals "would tend to last longer" than that of domestic marriages on the whole.
